About Me

Dr. Nagar is a recognized academician, teacher and performer.  She continues as always to dedicate her life and passing on her talent to the younger generation. She firmly believes in and earnestly strives to provide them with all that she has received from Kathak.  Rigorously trained for several grueling years and received a vast treasure of knowledge about The Lucknow and Jaipur Gharanas of Kathak – Prof. Purnima Pande and Late Guru Subhash Dixit. She has been blessed by the living legend Padmavibhushan Pt. Birju Maharaj, Padmavibhushan Dr. Kanak Rele, Dr. Puru Dadhich and Kathak exponent Sri Jayant Kastuar and has gathered highly intricate nuances of Kathak and Abhinaya.
